About this variety

Also known as: Aji Fantasy White, White Fantasy Pepper.
Flattened white pods, low heat
- Plant: compact and well-branched, 60–90 cm tall, suitable for containers
- Pod: flattened, lantern-like, 2.5–5 cm long
- Colour: pale green, ripening creamy ivory-white
- Heat: about 1,000–5,000 SHU, sweet and fruity
Start indoors in soil at 24–29 °C
Start seed indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost and hold the soil at 24–29 °C until the seedlings are up.
Planting out
Move plants outside only after the risk of frost has passed. Space plants 45–60 cm apart in full sun and rich, well-drained soil. Water regularly, but do not keep the soil wet, as that invites root disease. Pods ripen about 85–100 days after transplanting.
Fresh, in sauces, pickled
The pods are eaten fresh in salads and salsas, cooked into mild sauces and chutneys, and pickled whole.
What you get
The packet holds 5 seeds of Aji White Fantasy, enough for five plants if every seed comes up. We do not state a germination percentage for this packet.
