About this variety
Zinnia Tall Mixed Color is a tall zinnia mix that reaches up to about 90 cm (36 in), with flowers in red, yellow, orange and pink. The packet holds 25 seeds.
Where tall zinnias fit
Their height suits the back of a border and cutting for bouquets, where short bedding zinnias would be lost. Each plant's colour is a matter of chance in a mix, so sow a group for a spread of shades.
Sowing
- Sow in well-draining soil in full sun.
- Zinnias need warm weather, so sow when the season has warmed up.
- Water regularly, especially during dry spells.
Care
Keep watering through dry periods to support steady flowering. Cutting stems for vases is the main use for this tall mix.
A mix, not single colours
Colours are not separated in the packet, so you cannot choose the shade of a single seed. Sow a group of seeds together if you want the full spread of red, yellow, orange and pink in one bed.
What you get
One packet of 25 seeds of a mixed-colour tall zinnia. We have no sourced sowing temperature, emergence time or days to flowering for this lot and do not state them.
